Architecture
Falkenštejn Castle is a defensive castle with wooden buildings situated at the top of a sandstone rock. A ladder was needed to climb into the castle, and the buildings were made of wood. Due to its location on a difficult-to-access rock, a well was not available, and instead, a deep water tank was used.
Current Status and Use
The place was cleared in 1825 to make it accessible for tourists. The castle is freely open to visitors, although it requires effort to gain access to the castle itself.

Falkenštejn Castle has been designated as a heritage site by the National Cultural Heritage Institute (NPU).
