Architecture
The fort consists of a central tower surrounded by eight additional towers to form a bastion, with a megalithic wall surrounding it. The bastion is flanked by five towers with loopholes, showcasing the ingenuity and skill of the ancient Sardinian builders. Granite boulders were primarily used in its construction due to their availability near the site.
Location
The Casteddu de Fanaris is situated at 147 meters above sea level, occupying a strategic position that dominates the access road from Iglesiente to the Campidano plain.
